From warm minimalism to curved silhouettes and expressive stone, the moves shaping Indian homes this year.
The mood for 2026 is warm, tactile and quietly confident. The cold, over-styled minimalism of the last decade is giving way to interiors that feel lived-in from day one — spaces that celebrate craft, natural material and personality.
Curves are everywhere. Rounded sofas, arched doorways, oval dining tables and softly radiused joinery are replacing hard geometry, especially in living and bedroom areas. The effect is calming and undeniably modern.
Colour is warming up. Terracotta, clay, ochre and deep chocolate are pairing with off-whites and soft greens to create palettes that feel grounded rather than trendy. Statement stone — travertine, onyx, dramatic marble — is being used sparingly as sculptural focal points.
Lighting has become the jewellery of the home. Oversized pendants, sculptural floor lamps and layered wall lighting are treated as design objects in their own right, not just utilities. Expect to see this expressive lighting language across the projects we deliver this year.
